Now may be the time to consider the Master of Education Degree in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning Studies (Music Education Focus).
Admission to the program is open to holders of a B. Music and B. Music Education Degree (or equivalents) who have teaching/leadership experience and are interested in pursuing graduate study in Music Education.
This degree can be completed via one of the following program routes. Many of the required Education courses can be taken remotely in combination with Music Education courses that are offered in blended and flexible formats. There is also flexibility in this master’s program to develop a self-directed course plan that will facilitate personal and professional timelines, goals, and specific focus areas of study.
Program options may include:
- Course Route - 30 credit hours
- Internship - 24 credit hours plus internship
- Project- 24 credit hours plus project
- Paper Folio - 24 credit hours plus paper folio
- Thesis Route - 18 credit hours plus thesis
